Elevator Consultation: Collins Elevator provides you
with free estimates of in-home and commercial installations
or modernizations. We send qualified estimators
who can explain every step of an installation and find the right elevator
for
your needs.
Maintenance: Performing
maintenance on an elevator is a key element in the
longevity of the life of
an elevator. This includes cleaning, adjusting and
lubricating
various components to assure continued operation, safety and performance. Elevators
must be maintained and serviced regularly to keep them in proper working condition.
There are many mechanisms to an elevator which is why it is essential to have
a good maintenance program.
Repairs: Service crews are sent to the job to examine the reported problem of
the elevator and to troubleshoot the elevator to pinpoint the cause. Elevator
mechanics will repair or replace parts, as necessary to ensure the proper function
of the unit.
Elevator Safety Inspections: Annual Safety Tests, Semi-Annual Safety Tests and
Five Year Full Load Testing are provided in the presence of a 3rd Party Elevator
Inspector. Inspections are to assure that elevators and are safe and have not
been altered except in conformity to the applicable codes and regulations. It
is absolutely critical to your facility to meet the standards of these safety
